Officers responded after a 911 call about 11:55 a.m. for a BMW that went through multiple panes of glass on the front of W Furniture Inc. in the shopping center at Shaw and Sunnyside avenues, police spokesperson Ty Wood said.

“The business was open and there were people inside, but there were no injuries,” he said. “Thankfully.”

Police were still investigating what led to the crash.

Clovis Fire Department was on scene to inspect the building for safety reason, Wood said. The store will be closed until it is OK’d to open.
